1969-1970 Hill Hockey
Central Catholic Conference Champion
- Hill won its first state championship game after three previous losses, defeating Duluth Cathedral in overtime to claim the Independent State Championship. Hill also won the CCC championship outright for the first time.
- The State Independent Tournament was held for the first time and would run until private schools joined the State High School League in 1974-75. Initially, top CCC and MISL teams plus Crookston and Duluth Cathedral were eligible. Region playoffs were introduced in 1971.
