1994-1995 Hill-Murray Hockey Section 3AA 2nd Place Twin Cities Suburban East Champion
- Hill-Murray started 0-4, but later won 13 of 14 and was one of only two teams to defeat state champion Duluth East.
- Bill Klatt Hall-of-Fame night was held in conjunction with a game against Jefferson at Mariucci Arena.
- Trying for its first ever undefeated TCS season, Hill-Murray lost the final game 5-4 to Stillwater. The Pioneers nearly rallied from a 5-1 third period deficit, scoring the would-be tying goal just after the final buzzer.
- The top two ranked teams in the state were both in Section 5; Jefferson had the #1 state ranking but the #2 seed behind Apple Valley, whom they defeated in the section final. Duluth East then ended Jefferson's three year reign as state champs, and their 13 game state tournament win streak, with a 5-0 victory in the quarterfinal. East went on to defeat Moorhead in the championship game, with Dave Spehar scoring the go-ahead goal on a penalty shot.
